The Culture Department of the Municipality of Rhodes invites the public to a unique concert in honor of the great Lavrentis Machairitsas, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 9:00 p.m., at the “Melina Merkouri” Medieval Moat Theater.
An evening dedicated to the songs we loved, sang, and that continue to accompany us. Melodies and lyrics that have left their own unique mark on Greek music will come to life once again through the performances of beloved artists.
Taking the stage will be Dionysis Tsaknis, the Yellow Bicycles, Mirela Pachou, and Steve Tesser, in a program brimming with music, emotion, rhythm, and all those hits that the audience will sing along to from the first note to the last.
The concert aims to bring together young and old alike for a summer music festival, where the songs, memories, and joy of live music will take center stage.
The event is organized by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Rhodes in collaboration with Traverso Productions and Odos Oneiron, with the support of the Dodecanese Ephorate of Antiquities.
Admission is free, and tickets will be available starting July 17:
at the Culture Department of the Municipality of Rhodes (3 Diagoridon Street), as well as on the Aktion pedestrian walkway, daily from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
