The Embonas Cultural Association “Attavyros” and M.A.S. Anagennisi of Embonas are co-organizing a special event dedicated to local heritage. The 3rd Day of Traditional Costumes and Customs will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, offering residents and visitors to the island a unique opportunity to connect with the region’s roots and customs.
The event will be held in the courtyard of the Embonas Elementary School, with the event scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m..
Traditional Music and Celebration
A group of traditional musicians will provide the evening’s musical entertainment:

Katholiki Tharrenou: On the keyboard.

Dimitris Tharrenos: On the bouzouki.

Nektarios Konstantakis: On the violin.

Nikolaos Bakis: On the lute.
