The Archangelos Cultural Association “O Aithonas” invites the public to one of Rhodes’s largest and most important traditional events, the Koulouria Festival. The event will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 8:00 p.m., in the courtyard of Archangelos High School.

The Association’s goal is to revitalize local traditions, actively contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage and passing on a unique legacy to future generations.
The Tradition of Koulouria: In Archangelos, a wedding is one of the most central events in social life, accompanied by a host of customs. Koulouria is traditionally the first dish served at the wedding banquet, as “a wedding without koulouria in Archangelos is unthinkable.”

The evening will feature a lively traditional celebration with live music, featuring renowned artists and the Association’s ensembles:
