The Parish Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Ialyssos, under the auspices of the Holy Metropolis of Rhodes, invites the faithful to honor with their presence the parish’s festive and liturgical events for the feast of the Virgin Mary.

⛪ Schedule of Divine Services

• Thursday, August 13, 2026 (7:00 p.m.): Matins and the Epitaphios Service of the Most Holy Theotokos, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Kyrillos of Rhodes. Following the service, there will be a procession of the Epitaph accompanied by the Philharmonic.

• Friday, August 14, 2026 (7:30 p.m.): Grand Festive Hierarchical Vespers, presided over by His Grace Bishop Cyril of Olympus.

• Saturday, August 15, 2026 (Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos): The culmination of the celebrations with the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Cyril of Rhodes. This will be followed by the procession of the Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary, accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra.
