This year, the Rhodon Summer Cinema hosts the 25th Greek Francophone Film Festival (FFF25), offering the audience three nights full of cinematic discoveries. From 13 to 15 July 2025, with arrival time at 20:30 and screenings starting at 21:00, admission is free for all. This year’s programme is entitled “WHITE CARD in the African film library”, focusing on selected films from Africa, offering a unique opportunity to explore the rich francophone African cinema.
The festival starts on Sunday 13 July with the film “La Vie est belle” from the Democratic Republic of Congo, a dramatic musical. On Monday 14 July, the comedy “Bal poussière” from Côte d’Ivoire follows, while on Tuesday 15 July, the festival closes with a double screening: the black and white drama “Nationalité immigré” from Mauritania and the family drama “La Petite vendeuse de soleil” from Senegal. The event is kindly supported by the French Consulate in Rhodes and the French Institute of Greece, with the support of IOPAR and the curatorship of the Cine Education Group for Orthodox Christian Cinema.
