The AEGEAN SKILLS program—a dynamic collaboration between the Region of South Aegean and the University of the Aegean dedicated to boosting lifelong learning, skills development, and local cultural heritage across the islands—cordially invites you to a unique, free traditional pebble mosaic (Votsaloto) workshop in Kattavia.

About the Workshop
Participants will have the opportunity to discover the unique art of Rhodian pebble mosaics firsthand through experiential learning and practical training, under the guidance of the experienced master craftsman, Kyriakos Lamprou.
Beyond mastering an important traditional technique, participants will actively contribute to paving the courtyard of the community’s local church, leaving their own creative mark on a landmark project that will remain a point of reference for the village.
It will be a day dedicated to tradition, collaboration, creativity, and giving back to the local community.
