This event is being carried out in collaboration with the “ORAMA ELPIDAS” Bone Marrow Donor Center<\/b>, the “Marianna Vardinoyannis” Children’s Oncology Hospital<\/b>, and the Hellenic Nurses Association<\/b> (HNA).<\/p>\n

On the occasion of World Bone Marrow Donor Day<\/b>, the Third Age Protection department<\/b> of the Social Policy and Health Directorate of the Municipality of Rhodes<\/b> is participating in the 4th Panhellenic Voluntary Bone Marrow Donation Drive<\/b> with the theme “Nurses Give a Vision of Hope.”<\/b> This initiative has a notable history and has made a substantial contribution to life, with 5,079 registered volunteer bone marrow donors, two of whom have already been found to be a match and have given a transplant and life to corresponding patients.<\/p>\n

We invite you to embrace and participate in this initiative through a simple saliva sample test. The drive will be held at 54 Agios Ioannis KAPI<\/b> on Monday, September 15, 2025<\/b>, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM<\/b>.<\/p>\n
