To mark the feast day of Our Holy Mother Irene, Abbess of the Chrysovalantou Monastery, a pilgrimage by bus is being organized.
The trip will take place on the eve of the feast, on Monday, July 27, 2026. The destination is the monastery of the Saint, which is located on the grounds of the Holy Monastery of Panagia Pantanassa in Soroni.
🚌 Schedule & Departure Information:

Departure from Rhodes: The bus will depart from the area of Agios Fragiskos area at 6:00 p.m..

Intermediate Stop: There will be a stop to pick up pilgrims from Kremasti at 6:30 p.m..

Return: The bus is scheduled to depart from the Monastery for the return trip at 9:00 p.m..
During the Pilgrimage:

Participants will have the opportunity to attend services in the monastery’s sacred precincts.

The faithful will be given the traditional blessed apples of Saint Irene Chrysovalantou.

Various treats will also be offered at the venue.
💳 Participation Fee: The cost of bus transportation is 7€ per person.
