The Rhodes “Saint Ephraim” Association of Volunteer Blood Donors and the Panhellenic Federation of Associations of Volunteer Blood Donors (POSEA), in collaboration with the allsun Hotels group, are organizing a voluntary blood drive at the allsun Hotel Irene Palace as part of a social responsibility initiative focused on people and volunteerism.

Following the events held at the allsun Hotel Calypso Beach and allsun Hotel Calypso Palace, the allsun Hotel Irene Palace is taking the baton, continuing the effort to meet blood needs. The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Blood Donation Department of the General Hospital of Rhodes.

According to the organizers, the hotel group’s entry into the realm of social contribution highlights that hospitality is also expressed through a sense of responsibility toward society. At the same time, it is emphasized that voluntary blood donation is a sign of civility, solidarity, and social responsibility, with the initiative aiming to serve as a model for other tourism businesses on the island to follow.
