2nd Takkaki Festival – Pastida
The Women’s Association of Pastida is delighted and proud to announce the organization of the 2nd Takkaki Festival, which will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 19:00, in the courtyard of Agios Georgios in Pastida.
The sweetest summer rendezvous is coming, where tradition meets taste and local history comes alive through our region’s most characteristic sweet treat – the takkaki. For the second consecutive year, we passionately honor this authentic, traditional delicacy that keeps the flavor and memory of the past unchanged.
The great success of last year’s event gives us strength and inspiration to continue even more dynamically, with a rich program, traditional creations, treats, and plenty of music!
The orchestra of Stratos Tsirakakis will entertain us on stage, in a traditional celebration full of rhythm, dance, and authentic folk color. Our invited guests who will complement the evening with dances and participation are:
- The Cultural Association of Embonas “O Attavyros”
- The Women’s Association of Koskinou
- The Thessalians of Rhodes Association
The event is co-organized with the South Aegean Region and the DOPAR Directorate of the Municipality of Rhodes, with the support of the Federation of Cultural Associations of Rhodes, the Local Community of Pastida, and the Ecclesiastical Committee of the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos Pastida.
