Every year, the 16th of July finds the Archangel of Rhodes coming alive to the rhythms of a traditional festival, honouring Agia Marina. This year, as every year, the Cultural Association of Archangelos “O Aithonas” organizes an evening full of music, dance and authentic Greek atmosphere.
In the area of Yamachi Archangelos, from 20:00, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy live music by renowned artists: the lyre and voice of Chatzifoundas Aristotelis, the lute and voice of Xepapadakis Vangelis, the lute and voice of Xepapadakis, the guitar and voice of Dimitris Christodoulou, the bouzouki and voice of Dimitris Fladourakis, and the drums of Petrakis Stelios.
The tradition will be brought to life on stage and through the dances of the Dance Workshop of the Archangelos Cultural Association “Aithona”, as well as the Cultural & Folklore Association of Soroni “the Ambernalli”. It is a celebration that highlights the rich cultural heritage of the place, offering moments of fun and entertainment for all ages. With the support of the Archangelos Church Committee, the Agia Marina Fair is an integral part of local tradition, inviting residents and visitors to celebrate together.
