This event is being carried out in collaboration with the “ORAMA ELPIDAS” Bone Marrow Donor Center, the “Marianna Vardinoyannis” Children’s Oncology Hospital, and the Hellenic Nurses Association (HNA).
On the occasion of World Bone Marrow Donor Day, the Third Age Protection department of the Social Policy and Health Directorate of the Municipality of Rhodes is participating in the 4th Panhellenic Voluntary Bone Marrow Donation Drive with the theme “Nurses Give a Vision of Hope.” This initiative has a notable history and has made a substantial contribution to life, with 5,079 registered volunteer bone marrow donors, two of whom have already been found to be a match and have given a transplant and life to corresponding patients.
We invite you to embrace and participate in this initiative through a simple saliva sample test. The drive will be held at 54 Agios Ioannis KAPI on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
