Conductor: Panagiotis Diamantis
The MOYSA – Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall was created by the Thessaloniki Concert Hall Organization in March 2015 with a founding donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. It has collaborated with distinguished conductors and has performed with important artists of the Greek and international music scene.
The “MOYSA” chamber orchestra, under the direction of its chief conductor Panagiotis Diamantis, is appearing for the first time at the Rhodes International Festival with a unique concert at the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes. The concert will be repeated the very next day on the historic island of Kastellorizo. The program includes works by: J.S. Bach, Edvard Grieg, J. Strauss, N. Skalkottas, and others. The concerts are co-produced with the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
This event is part of the 18th Rhodes International Festival.
