A few words about the play:
In “We Lost Aunt Stop,” Thanasis and Ourania live in the misery and grumbling brought by poverty in Gazi during the ’50s. In the next room is their bedridden and terminally ill aunt, on whose inheritance they rely to fulfill their dreams of a better life. A quarrel and a wrong move bring about her death a little sooner than expected. This death does not bring the longed-for solution but is the spark for a big “explosion.”
