The Pastida Cultural Association “Kamari” is organizing the “1st Traditional Salted Cod Dish Festival.” The event, which was rescheduled due to weather conditions, will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the courtyard of the Church of St. George in Pastida.
Attendees will have the opportunity to taste traditionally prepared cod, made according to the village’s time-honored recipes. The event is the result of a collective effort and volunteer work by the association’s members, and is co-organized by the Region of South Aegean, the Culture Department of the Municipality of Rhodes, and DERMAE. The event’s main sponsor is Andreas Nikolis – ORION HOUSES IXIA.
Singer Kelly Kelekidou will set the tone for the evening’s festivities. Joining her on stage will be the musicians:
