The Ecclesiastical Committee of the Parish Church of Saint Fanourios invites the public to the commemorative events celebrating Saint Fanourios the Great Martyr and Wonderworker, the patron saint of Rhodes.

7:00 p.m.: Great Vespers and the Supplicatory Canon of the Saint.

Followed by a musical performance in Dorieos Square featuring the dance troupe of the Ialysos Women’s Cultural Association “Fereniki.”

Wednesday, August 26, 2026:

7:00 a.m.: Matins and Pre-Feast Divine Liturgy.

7:00 p.m.: Grand Festive Vespers presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Kyrillos of Rhodes.

This will be followed by the procession of the Holy Icon along Omirou, Ippodamou, Sokratous, and Agios Fanourios Streets.

Afterward, a musical event will take place in Dorieos Square.

Thursday, August 27, 2026:

7:00 a.m.: Matins and the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy presided over by His Grace Bishop Methodios of Knossos.

6:30 p.m.: Festive Vespers following the feast and the Service of the Salutations to the Saint.

Following this, a musical event will take place at Dorieos Square featuring the adult dance troupe of the Soroni Cultural Association “To Abernalli.”
