The Rhodes Lions Club is organizing a festive banquet to celebrate the National Anniversary of October 28, 1940, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at the Mediterranean Hotel in Rhodes.

The keynote speaker at the event will be author and researcher Kostas E. Skandalidis, who will speak on the topic “The Contribution of the Dodecanese People to the Epic of ’40.” The evening will feature musical entertainment by DJ Tasos Karvelis, in a festive setting that combines historical remembrance with a tribute to the fighters of the Epic of ’40.

The participation fee is €45 per person and includes an appetizer, salad, main course, dessert, wine, and other accompaniments.

The invitation is extended by the Club’s Board of Directors, with President Mento Zoannou and Secretary General Stella Anastasiadis.
