A new publication titled Island Voices, dedicated to island politics, development, and cooperation, is set to take place in Rhodes. The event, an initiative of the newspaper “I Rodiaki,” aims to highlight both the challenges and opportunities facing island regions.

The event will take place on October 16 and 17 at the Sheraton Rhodes Resort. The forum will be attended by representatives of the Greek government, the European Union, local government, the academic community, the business sector, and civil society.

Thematic Areas of the Forum

Island Voices will serve as a platform for dialogue and the development of policy proposals, focusing on key issues facing the islands:

• Connectivity and housing.

• Natural resource management.

• Health and resilience of island communities.

• Entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism.

• Utilization of European funding.
