The Culture Committee of the Rhodes Emmanouil and Mary Stamatiou Scholarship Foundation is organizing the presentation of the anthology of poems by Pantelis Efthymiou “Poetry 1954–1992,” on Saturday, October 3, at 7:00 p.m., at the event venue. The publication is an initiative of the Rhodes Scholarship Foundation of Emmanouil and Mary Stamatiou.
The following speakers will discuss the publication:
- Dimitris Kokkinos, Member of the Special Teaching Staff at the University of the Aegean’s Department of Early Childhood Education and Chair of the Stamatio Foundation’s Culture Committee
- Chrysanthi Manola, Philologist
- Stella Papadopoulou, Philologist
The following speakers will discuss the author’s poetic work:
- K. Skandalidis, Author
- Suleiman Alayali Tsalik, Poet
- Konstantina Kalaouzi, Coordinator of the Dodecanese Prefecture Philologists’ Educational Project
During the event, poems by Pantelis Efthymios set to music will be performed by K. Skandalidis and L. Sakellaridis, and author Maro Vamvounaki will deliver a welcoming address.
