The play “Him & Him,” directed by Alexandros Rigas and starring Giorgos Konstantinou, Leonidas Kakouris, Dimitris Starovas, and Sofia Manolakou, continues its summer tour with upcoming stops in Rhodes and Kos after the warm reception and applause from theatergoers in Crete, Macedonia, and Thrace.
The renowned and emblematic work “Him & Him” is a hymn to poetic vagrancy, illogical rational thought, and free humor. It is a play related to the theater of the absurd and to revue, but above all, it is a satirical, thoughtful comedy. An “anarchic,” “vagrant,” and “subversive” comedy—a comedy beyond thoughts, beyond situations, and beyond logic.
Loukas (Giorgos Konstantinou) and Solon (Leonidas Kakouris), the two main protagonists, are two wise, wandering bohemians—two men who want to be free and have nothing stand in the way of their journey to freedom.
