The Region of South Aegean , in collaboration with Mediterranean College (Athens, Glyfada, and Thessaloniki) and SAEK ALPHA (Athens, Piraeus, Glyfada, and Thessaloniki), is offering a total of nine (9) tuition scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Specifically, the scholarships are awarded as follows:

- FOUR tuition scholarships for the first year of study in the Bachelor’s
To continue their studies with a scholarship, recipients must maintain continuous enrollment and good academic standing, with an annual grade average of >65%. The scholarships do not cover application fees, annual tuition fees to the British university, or degree/graduation fees.
- SAEK ALPHA
- FOUR annual tuition scholarships
- ONE full tuition scholarship
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The scholarships are exclusively for students beginning the 2026–2027 academic year.
- The full SAEK ALPHA scholarship will be awarded provided that at least three scholarship recipients are selected through the call for applications, namely two for the annual scholarships and one for the full scholarship.
- Recipients may choose any major or program of study that interests them from among those offered by the following institutions: SAEK ALPHA and MEDITERRANEAN COLLEGE.
- Students who are already enrolled and/or actively studying at the aforementioned educational institutions are excluded from the evaluation and scholarship award process.
- Recipients may choose to study at any branch of the aforementioned institutions that is convenient for them, in Athens, Piraeus, Glyfada, or Thessaloniki.
- Of the scholarships for SAEK ALPHA, four are for the 1st year of study, and one is for a full, two-year program.
- For SAEK ALPHA, the registration fee (300 euros), the re-registration fee for the 2nd year (300 euros), internship, and degree issuance are covered exclusively by the scholarship recipient.
- Scholarships at MEDITERRANEAN COLLEGE cover the 1st year of study; to continue studies with a scholarship, the scholarship recipient must maintain continuous enrollment (consistent attendance) and an annual grade average above 65%. Otherwise, for subsequent years, they will receive a partial scholarship covering 50%.
- For MEDITERRANEAN COLLEGE, the application fees, the annual tuition at the partner British university or accrediting body, as well as the degree/graduation issuance fees, are covered exclusively by the scholarship recipient.
- To be awarded a scholarship, applicants must meet the minimum admission requirements for the program of their choice.
- The aforementioned educational institutions reserve the right not to offer a particular program of study in the event of low enrollment. In this case, the scholarship recipient may choose another program.
SELECTION OF SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
Scholarship recipients are selected by the Region of South Aegean based on socioeconomic and academic criteria (high school performance). The scholarship announcement, including all terms and conditions and the selection process, as well as the announcement of the names of the selected scholarship recipients, will be posted on the official website of the Region of South Aegean.
Publicizing the scholarship program serves a dual purpose: a) to highlight the Region’s social initiatives, and b) to inform all young people in the Region about the scholarships available, so that as many interested individuals as possible may participate, all of whom will receive a significant tuition discount even if they are not selected.
Applicants who are permanent residents of the Region of South Aegean must submit their applications along with the relevant documents by Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., at the Dodecanese Department of Social Actions of the Region of South Aegean in Rhodes (Address: 2 Georgiou Mavrou Street – Zefyros, Rhodes Tax Office Building, 3rd floor, Attn: Ms. Christina Loï), using one of the following methods:

To participate, candidates must submit the following supporting documents:
a) Scholarship application form (available on the Region of South Aegean website www.pnai.gov.gr under the “SCHOLARSHIPS” section).
b) High school diploma
c) Certificate of permanent residence
d) Copy of the most recent tax return (E1) for the parents or the applicant themselves.
