The Yucatan Show promises a unique musical experience, a one-of-a-kind electronic music DJ set headlined by internationally renowned DJ and producer Frankie Lluc, which will take place in Rhodes on Friday, August 28, 2026. The event will be held in the grounds of the Rhodes Hydrobiological Station (Aquarium), one of the island’s most iconic landmarks, set against the backdrop of the stunning seaside landscape.
The Yucatan Show is organized by PROTOUR (Rhodes Tourism Promotion Organization) and the Tourism Department of the Municipality of Rhodes, in celebration of International Youth Day (International Youth Day), which is celebrated annually on August 12. It is aimed at both residents and visitors to the island, offering a contemporary music event in a unique setting.
The initiative is part of the strategy of PROTOUR and the Tourism Directorate to engage the youth travel audience, highlighting Rhodes as a contemporary destination that offers entertainment and cultural experiences tailored to the interests of younger generations of travelers.
Frankie Lluc is an Athens-based DJ and music producer, known for his contemporary take on house music and the multicultural influences he incorporates into his productions. With releases on well-known labels and performances at festivals and clubs around the world, he has gained international recognition for his distinctive sound and dynamic DJ sets. In Rhodes, as part of the Yucatan Show, he will present a musical program featuring contemporary electronic sounds and the distinctive house style that defines his artistic approach.
The President of PROTOUR and Municipal Councilor for Tourism, Nikos Pavlakidis, stated: “The Yucatan Show brings Frankie Lluc to Rhodes, an artist with a significant international presence in contemporary electronic music. We chose to organize this event to mark World Youth Day, with a special focus on the young audience that follows contemporary music trends. At the same time, we chose the grounds of the Rhodes Hydrobiological Station (Aquarium), one of our island’s most iconic landmarks, to highlight a site of exceptional beauty and historical value through a contemporary event. Our goal is for this event to become an established part of our broader effort to engage the young traveler demographic and strengthen Rhodes’s tourism identity as a modernthat is constantly evolving and creating new experiences.”
The Yucatan Show begins at 7 p.m., and admission is free.
