On Sunday, November 1, 2026, the heart of “Rhodes for Life” will beat in Town Hall Square, marking its traditional major gathering with the people of Rhodes. An event that, for years now, has become synonymous with participation, generosity, and the strength a community gains when it unites for a common cause.
The meeting point is City Hall Square, which from early in the morning will be filled with people, music, volunteers, athletes, families, and groups of friends who will run and walk for Life.
This year, we’re united by the color teal. The color of this year’s T-shirt has already made its way to schools, businesses, clubs, groups, and homes, spreading the message of “Rhodes for Life” to every corner of the island and beyond.
Starting in the morning, athletes, volunteers, and citizens of all ages will gather for the main event. First, the race portion of the event will take place, and then thousands of residents will join together for the traditional Walk for Life. Registration for athletes wishing to run begins at 9:00 a.m., and the race will start at 10:00 a.m.
Shortly before the walk begins, fitness instructor Stergos Koupadis will be with us again this year to lead a dynamic warm-up for the crowd. The Rhodes Music School Percussion Ensemble will add a special touch, filling the square and the starting line with rhythm just before the main race begins. The musical theme of the day will be provided by the well-known music collective Ollie, which will infuse our grand gathering with positive energy and rousing music. Music, movement, percussion, running, and walking will once again be part of this great celebration. Teris Hatzioannou and Spyridoula Strati will be hosting this year’s event.
On Sunday, November 1, we look forward to seeing you all at City Hall Square. Put on your petrol-blue T-shirt, bring your family, friends, and the people you care about, and come join us as we run, walk, and unite our steps once again.
Because “Rhodes for Life” isn’t just a single day on the calendar. It’s everything we can achieve when an entire community decides to move in the same direction.
