The Cultural Festival “Ialysia 2026” returns from Friday, August 21, through Tuesday, August 25, at Ialysos Central Square and the “Fereniki” Amphitheater. A rich program filled with folk traditions, traditional dances from Greece and abroad, major concerts, and theatrical performances—all with free admission for everyone.

Friday, August 21 (Fereniki Amphitheater):

8:00 p.m.: Parade of music and dance groups (Route: Ierou Lochou – Central Square – “Fereniki” Amphitheater).

9:00 p.m.: Festival Opening Ceremony.

9:15 p.m.: Performance by the Kalythia Philharmonic.

9:30 PM: Traditional dances featuring the following groups: Apollon Cultural Association “New Horizons,” the “Karya ce Karya” dance troupe from Bodrum, Turkey, the Serbian dance group “Beloije Serbia,” the Ialysos Women’s Cultural Association, and the Ialysos Municipal Cultural Association “To Chorospito.” Accompanied by the traditional orchestra of A. & K. Makri and G. & G. Hatzikalimeris.

Saturday, August 22 (Ialysos Central Square):

9:00 p.m.: “Summer Festival” music event presented by the Ialysos Athletic Association (G.A.S.). Traditional music featuring Dimitris Kourtias, Vaios Karadimitris, Giannis Oikonomou, Nikos Kanavakis, Babis Bournis, and Michalis Eleftheras.

9:00 PM: An evening of traditional dances featuring the following groups: the Ialysos Women’s Folk Dance Group, the Pastida “Kamari” Folk Dance Group, Rhodes Muslim Folk Dance Association “I Adelphosini,” as well as dance groups from Turkey, Serbia, and “To Chorospito.” Accompanied by the traditional orchestra of A. & K. Makris and G. & G. Hatzikalimeris.
