The regular General Meeting of Shareholders of AN.D.O. S.A., the prefecture’s multi-shareholder development company, which is celebrating 33 years of successful operation this year.
The meeting was attended by the company’s Board Chairman, Mr. Christos Bardos, and, as shareholder representatives: Mr. Apostolos Asprakis from the Region of South Aegean, Mr. Evangelos Fragakis from the Regional Union of Municipalities, Mr. Thomas Kostas from the Municipality of Rhodes, Ms. Evangelia Petridi from the Municipality of Symi, Mr. Ioannis Tsangarinou from the Municipality of Tilos, Ms. Phaedra Spanou from the Chamber of Commerce, and Ms. Anastasia Diakostavrianou from the Rhodes Environmental Protection Association.
All shareholder representatives expressed their satisfaction with the company’s exemplary operations and its contributions over the 33 years since its founding. The coming months are anticipated with particular interest, as they will see the completion of the evaluation of the LEADER SS CAP public projects (31 proposals totaling 4.9 million euros were submitted) and new calls for proposals for private and public projects under the LEADER programs will be issued.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Chairman Mr. Bardos and CEO Mr. Fragakis expressed their gratitude to the company’s shareholders for their long-standing support and thanked the staff members for their daily efforts to implement investments on our islands. The Director of ANDO, Mr. Konstantinos Zifos, thanked the shareholder representatives and the members of the Board of Directors for their excellent cooperation and trust, which have resulted in the company’s success at both the local and national levels. This was followed by an analysis of the company’s balance sheet and other financial data, with the company reporting a profit for the 2025 fiscal year.
