The relevant decision was signed by the Deputy Regional Governor of the Dodecanese, Christos Efstratios, taking into account the relevant decision of the Secretary General for Civil Protection (No. A4354/10/26/2026, ADA: ΨΕ0146ΝΠΙΘ-171) to activate a “Red Code” in the Region of South Aegean due to the risk of flooding in all Regional Units of the Dodecanese.
At the same time, consideration was given to the urgent document, protocol number 2792/October 26, 2026, from the Independent Directorate of Civil Protection of the Region of South Aegean, along with the attached minutes of the emergency meeting of the Regional Operational Coordination Body for Civil Protection (P.E.S.O.P.P.) of the Dodecanese Regional Unit, which included the relevant recommendation.
