On Saturday, July 11, 2026, the 17th Farmers’ and Ranchers’ Festival was successfully held by the Monolithos Cultural Association “New Life” in the village of Monolithos.
The Association’s Board of Directors would like to begin by thanking the Region of South Aegean and the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Rhodes for co-organizing the event, the Municipality of Rhodes, the Federation of Cultural Associations of Rhodes, and the local community for their support.
Warm thanks also go to the dance troupe of the Embonas Cultural Association “O Attaviros” for their participation in the event. We would especially like to thank the Cultural Associations of Embonas (“O Attavyros”), Siannos (“I Vrasia”), and Apolakia for their support.
We would like to extend our special thanks to Grigoris Samolis, Nektarios Konstantakis, and their orchestras, our media sponsors, and all our sponsors who, for yet another year, have stood by us in this great effort we are making for the good of our community. In these difficult times for everyone, they answered the call—whether for the first time or for the umpteenth time in recent years—and continue to help us in whatever way they can.
We would also like to thank the Hellenic Red Cross and the Rhodes Volunteer Samaritan Corps, Rescue and Lifeguard Corps of Rhodes, for providing medical coverage for the event.
Finally, our greatest thanks go to the farmers and ranchers of the region and to all those unsung heroes who stand behind us but worked tirelessly for many days to makethis event a reality!!!!!
We hope that everyone who honored us with their presence had a wonderful evening.
Sincerely,
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the MONOLITHOS CULTURAL ASSOCIATION
THE PRESIDENT
Maria Dimelli
