Road marking work is currently underway on the island’s road network, as part of the Municipality of Rhodes’ planning and initiatives to improve road safety by enhancing the visibility and clarity of road markings.
The work has already been completed in the areas of Paradisos and Kremasti by crews from the Petaloudes Municipal Unit, as part of a collaboration between the Department of Technical Works and Infrastructure of the Municipality of Rhodes, the Deputy Mayor in charge, Stavros Tsouvalis, and the Municipal Councilor responsible for the Petaloudes & Ialysos, Chrysovalantis Lampis.
The work is being carried out in a planned and coordinated manner, and to complete the work as quickly as possible, crews are also working in the early morning hours to minimize, as much as possible, disruption and impact on traffic.
For this reason, drivers are asked to exercise extra caution during the early morning hours, reduce their speed, and comply with temporary signage and the instructions of the work crews during the work.
Following the completion of the work in Paradeisi and Kremasti, the project will continue in Ialysos, where similar road marking work will be carried out.
Through these efforts, the Municipality of Rhodes continues its commitment to creating a safer and more functional road network, with projects planned and implemented in collaboration with the relevant agencies and municipal districts.
