The Municipal Community of Soroni and the Management Committee of the Agios Soulas Park in co-organization with DERMAE and the Directorate of Culture of the Municipality of Rhodes are holding a ten-day cultural and sporting activities at
in the context of the celebration of St. Sula.
This year, the festival and its events were enriched and upgraded, as they were included in the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture.
The festive events and activities start on Sunday 20 July and end on Wednesday 30 July on the day of the Feast of Saint Sula and include: a bicycle race, a bumpy road, recreational activities for children, shadow theatre, a theatrical performance for adults, traditional music and dances, a photo exhibition and the long-established egg races, bag races, horse shows and a traditional hut competition. reviving local customs and honouring our cultural heritage
The highlight of this year’s festive programme is the concert of the popular artist Stavento with the young audience’s favourite performer Daphne Lawrence, which will take place on Tuesday 22 July at 21.30 in the Agios Sula Grove, as will the other events.
