A unique historical, narrative, musical, and dance performance titled “Walking through Rhodes” (“Perpatontas ti Rodo”) is being organized by the Lyceum of Greek Women of Rhodes “Ergani Athina”. The event is an open invitation to the public to walk together through the pathways and rich traditions of the island.
The performance will take place on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the welcoming venue of the “RODON” Cinema-Theater. Doors open at 20:00, with the official start time set for 20:30. The event is co-organized by the Directorate of Culture of the Municipality of Rhodes and is sponsored by Rotary District 2475.

The evening’s musical journey will be brought to life by a group of established and emerging artists who treat local tradition with the utmost respect:

Giannis Kladakis: An essential presence for the evening, accompanying the group with his lyre.

Antonis Makris: Participating on the lyre, standing out as one of the young musicians honoring local tradition.

Dimitris Manousos: Framing the ensemble with his violin, an instrument with which he travels across the entire country.

Konstantinos Makris: Participating on the lute (laouto).

Despoina Giannakli: With her wonderful voice and santouri, she masterfully represents all the santouri players who have historically graced the island.
