The Cultural and Folklore Association of Fanes “O Prodromos” is organizing the 13th Vine Festival on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 8:30 p.m., at the old C.A.I.R. factory in Fanes, Rhodes—a landmark site of viticultural history and our local heritage.

A small traditional market will be set up on the premises, featuring sweet grapes, sourdough bread, traditional pancakes, grape jam, and other products lovingly prepared by the Association’s volunteers.There will also be festival souvenirs, such as T-shirts, mugs, and other items, so that visitors can take home a lovely memento of the 13th Vine Festival.

Of course, the traditional treats for visitors—including grapes, grape must, and other local delicacies—will be served, in the spirit of hospitality that characterizes both the festival and our region.

Both evenings will be followed by a traditional celebration with live music, and souvlaki, drinks, and refreshments will be available.

Music & Dance Program

Saturday, September 5:
The evening will begin with traditional dances performed by the dance troupe of the “Prodromos” Cultural and Folklore Association of Fanos “O Prodromos,” and then Giorgos Vogiatzakis and his orchestra will take over the festivities.

Sunday, September 6:
The second evening will begin with traditional dances performed by the dance groups of the Fanos Cultural and Folklore Association “O Prodromos” and the Soroni Cultural and Folklore Association “To Amperalli” will provide the backdrop with traditional dances. Afterward, Christina Koza and Giannis Kladakis will take the stage to provide entertainment.

For two days, Fanes becomes a gathering place for tradition, wine, music, dance, and the flavors of our region, in a festival dedicated to the vineyard and to the people who keep our viticultural heritage alive.
