The Koskinou Cultural Association “Kallithea” is organizing the 4th Melekouni Festival in Koskinou, Rhodes, inviting young and old alike to an evening where tradition meets flavor.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the courtyard of the Koskinou Elementary School, with free admission for the public.
Free Melekouni & Traditional Delicacies
Throughout the festival, traditional Rhodian melekouni will be offered free of charge to all attendees, along with traditional treats, local delicacies, and wine.

8:00 PM – Opening: Traditional treats and free melekouni for everyone.

9:00 PM – Live Music: Stratos Tsirakakis performs live on stage with traditional music, lute, and singing.

11:00 PM – Celebration: A traditional celebration with dancing, wine, and local delicacies until late.

Directions & Useful Information

Directions: From the city of Rhodes (7 km southwest), take the Rhodes-Lindos highway (~10 minutes) toward Koskinou, then follow the signs for the Elementary School.

Parking: Free parking is available 100 m from the school (follow the “P” signs).

Tip: The event takes place outdoors, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and a hat.
