The Association of Peloponnesians of Rhodes “O Morias” and the Holy Metropolis of Rhodes present the musical event “Our Tradition Protected by the Virgin Mary” at the “Melina Merkouri” Medieval Moat Theater on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
The concert will feature cantor Nektaria Karantzi. Joining her will be:
- The Byzantine & Traditional Music Ensembles of the Rhodes Association of Chanters
- The Traditional Orchestra and Choir Ensembles of the Rhodes Music School
- Christos Topkaras on the Pontic lyre
The event is organized by Maria Papadopoulou, with the participation of Father Nektarios Pokias. The event is held with the support of the Region of South Aegean, the Municipality of Rhodes (Department of Culture), the Ministry of Culture (Dodecanese Ephorate of Antiquities), the Federation of Cultural Associations of Rhodes, and the Rhodes Music School.
Admission is free for the public.
