Compagnie Transe Express is a French troupe of artists who blend theater and music in their parade-style performances, and during the Festival they will present one of their most ambitious works.

The Cursed Bell-Ringers / Maudits Sonnants: A poetic and unexpected outdoor performance, a celestial spectacle that transforms public space into a dreamlike stage. Eccentric and theatrical characters, with humor and skill, gather around the Celestial Carillon. The bells ring out in a moment of collective harmony, and as the characters slowly rise into the air, the audience is swept away by a breathtaking spectacle that offers a rare sense of eternity. Without any electronic amplification, the sounds travel throughout the city, creating a magical experience of celebration, emotion, and shared participation.

More than 1,000 students from Rhodes’ elementary schools will take part in this massive musical show, transforming the island’s center into a grand celebration of sound, color, and movement. The students will prepare by participating in music workshops organized by the festival in collaboration with the educational team of the Mikrokosmos Choir.
