The Diodos Prevention Center, in collaboration with EOPAE, is organizing a screening of the film “Ridiculous Loves” by Dimitris Katsimiris on Sunday, August 16, at 9:00 p.m., at the Rodon Summer Cinema.
The screening is not merely a movie night, but an opportunity for meaningful dialogue about human relationships, self-awareness, and psychosocial health. The director himself will be in attendance at the screening.
Through its harsh yet deeply human portrayal of love, jealousy, the need for validation, and the fear of loss, highlights issues directly linked to prevention and personal empowerment. The characters face challenges in managing their emotions, setting personal boundaries, and dealing with codependent relationships, reminding us how important it is to cultivate skills such as self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healthy communication.
Following the screening, we will have the pleasure of speaking with the director himself, Dimitris Katsimiris, on a special evening dedicated to human relationships, emotions, and the contradictions of love.
We look forward to sharing a beautiful cinematic experience with you under the summer sky of Rhodes.
Intended for adult audiences (18+).
