The Municipality of Rhodes is developing a Gender Equality Action Plan (GEA), with the aim of integrating a gender perspective into all of its policies and actions, as well as promoting equal opportunities in the workplace and in social life. At the same time, the Plan aims to prevent discrimination and gender-based exclusion, as well as to create a safe, fair, and inclusive society for every individual, regardless of gender, age, origin, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.
This is an important initiative that places equality and inclusion at the center of the Municipality of Rhodes’ local planning and development policy.
As part of this process, the Municipality of Rhodes seeks to document the experiences and views of the local community and invites residents to participate in the relevant survey.
The suggestions, experiences, and opinions of the residents of the city and the island’s communities are particularly important for identifying and highlighting the actual needs of the local community, as well as for designing targeted interventions.
To this end, the Municipality of Rhodes invites residents to complete a short questionnaire that takes about 7–10 minutes to complete. Everyone’s participation is invaluable, as the responses will make a substantial contribution to the development of effective policies and actions for gender equality.
