A new, significant partnership with a social focus is launching between the “Rhodes Municipal Welfare Organization” Foundation (DOP) and the “Electra Hotels Group”—specifically through the substantial practical support provided by “Electra Palace Rhodes” to the Organization’s soup kitchen.
This collaboration began on Monday, September 7, 2026, at the meal preparation facility of the Rhodes Municipal Welfare Organization, where the Director of “Electra Palace Rhodes,” Ioannis Markos Roukos, delivered food, sweets, fruit, and basic necessities by the Director of “Electra Palace Rhodes,” Ioannis Markos Roukos, to the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Rhodes and President of the Municipal Welfare Organization, Savvina Papageorgiou.
Also present at the handover were senior managers of the hotel and producers Fotis Halantas and Georgios Stavlas, who participated in the initiative, demonstrating in practice the compassion and generosity of the staff at “Electra Palace Rhodes.”
The donated items will help meet the soup kitchen’s critical needs and will substantially support its daily operations, supporting our financially vulnerable fellow citizens who benefit from the program of the “Rhodes Municipal Welfare Organization.”
