A spectacular theatrical adventure for children by the “Magical Caravan” Theater Company
The “Magical Caravan” Theater Company presents a new, impressive children’s play inspired by the most legendary hero of Greek tradition: Hercules.
A contemporary theatrical adaptation that brings the magical world of ancient tales to life, introducing children to our rich cultural heritage in an enjoyable and accessible way.
Greek mythology, full of heroes, gods, and trials, is an inexhaustible treasure trove of knowledge and imagination. Through the story of Hercules, children are introduced to tales that convey timeless messages and values.
The performance uses “projection mapping” technology (alternating set projections), transforming the stage into a stunning mythical world where gods and mortals coexist, while the experience is rounded out with imaginative choreography, spectacular lighting, theatrical action that combines the body, light, and shadow as well as original music , which is performed live on stage, creating a multisensory theatrical experience.
In this adaptation, we encounter legendary characters such as:
the dark and imposing Hades,
the wise and persistent Philoctetes,
the dynamic and tender Megara,
as well as the 12 Labors of Hercules, presented with humor, imagination, and intense theatrical action.
The performance is aimed at children and families and aims, through theater and mythology, to highlight values such as bravery, empathy, responsibility, justice, self-sacrifice, the power of friendship and love. Hercules is portrayed not only as a superhero, but as a man who grows through his trials, learning to transform strength into responsibility.
The Magic Caravan continues to create performances that combine artistic quality with an educational dimension, bringing mythology closer to children, through contemporary theatrical language and new technologies.
