Following last year’s success with “The Best Is Yet to Come,” the ArtThalies theater troupe returns to Rhodes this summer with a delightful comedy about friendship, turning 40, and all the fiascos that ultimately become the best memories.
The plot:
Eleni is turning 40, and her best friend Maria is planning the ultimate surprise gift: a two-day getaway in Rhodes, right by the sea.
The plan seems perfect. Until everything goes wrong.
The Airbnb turns out to be abandoned, the owner is a con artist who changes his disguise 10 times to squeeze out more money, Maria’s mom shows up uninvited for a date from a dating app, while the cleaning lady came to mop and stayed for psychoanalysis.
Through nonstop laughter, fast-paced action, and unexpected twists, the play “The Best Is (Yet) to Come” speaks to every woman aged 30–50 about turning a new decade, the power of true friendship, and the fact that often “the best” things in life start out as the biggest mess.
ArtThalies invites us on a journey filled with dance, surprises, and lots and lots of laughter.
