The six free training programs scheduled for September as part of Aegean Skills are in full swing, the major training initiative implemented by the Region of South Aegean and the University of the Aegean.
The programs, which began on September 7, cover a variety of topics, addressing contemporary needs in education, employment, tourism, and daily life.
The current cycle includes:
- “First Aid: Immediate Response to Emergencies,” with an emphasis on acquiring practical skills for handling emergencies.
- “Methods for Strengthening Relationships Between School and Family: Re-Connecting and Guiding,” focusing on communication and collaboration between school and family.
- “Tourism Marketing—Modern Methods of Promotion and Development,” focusing on contemporary practices for promoting and developing tourism services and destinations.
- “Effective Communication—A Skill That Can Be Learned,” which focuses on developing modern communication skills.
- “Educational Robotics: Programming, Construction, and Problem Solving,” covering programming, construction, and the development of problem-solving skills.
- “Mindfulness: Practices for Cultivating Emotional Intelligence,” with an emphasis on self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and managing daily life.
The programs are free and are intended exclusively for residents of the Region of South Aegean, namely the Dodecanese and the Cyclades. Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from the University of the Aegean.
New cycle in October
In parallel with the implementation of the September programs, planning for Aegean Skills continues with new educational initiatives.
A new series of programs is already being prepared for October, featuring new topics and more training opportunities for island residents.
Details regarding the new programs, topics, dates, and the registration process are expected to be announced in the coming days.
Aegean Skills is an ongoing collaboration between the Region of South Aegean and the University of the Aegean, aimed at providing free access to knowledge and the acquisition of new skills for residents of the Dodecanese and the Cyclades.
The training program continues, with new learning opportunities coming in October.
