Stavroula Georgopapadakou and the DUENDE Dance Group present an evening dedicated to the art of dance, on Tuesday 22 July 2025, at 9.00pm, at the RODON Summer Cinema. LIVING THE LIGHT” and begins with choreographies of Free Physical Expression & Improvisation to music by our great composers M. Theodorakis and M. Hadjidakis, a small tribute to the 100 years since their birth. In the central part of the dance evening, after a short passage through the world of Argentinean Tango, choreographies will be presented in all the rhythms of FLAMENCO, which as a genre of music and dance transcends its local character of origin and functions as a “language” of freedom and deep expression of universal feelings. Flamenco is perhaps the only dance genre that overtly presents the power, the fierceness, the determination of the woman and her deep desire to define herself in life and to seek her own self-realization.
