The beloved “The Italian Tenors” are coming to Rhodes for the first time for a unique summer performance at the Moat Theatre on August 10th.
It will be a unique evening filled with global pop hits, the most famous Italian songs, and arias from renowned operas, all under the light of the Full Moon!
The Italian Tenors, comprised of Luca Sala, Bruno Almeida, and Evans Tonon, with studies at the most prestigious Music Academies and performances in the world’s major opera houses, created an original project in 2012, presenting Viva La Vita! They take the audience on a journey from the classical sounds of Ennio Morricone, to Lucio Dalla’s romantic “Caruso,” Andrea Boccelli’s “Il Mondo” or “Con Te Partiro,” to the pop rhythms of “Gloria,” “Mamma Maria,” Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” and famous arias from Verdi and Puccini operas. They offer a unique musical event that highlights Italy’s musical charm and the vocal power of the performers, captivating the audience and transporting them from La Scala in Milan, to the Rome Opera, and from the Arena di Verona to the Colosseum!
It’s admirable how three classically trained artists create a bridge to connect pop music with classical and have managed to interpret it in their own distinctive way.
They have completed extensive tours around the world, where they were highly acclaimed by audiences! Every appearance they make sells out, and each performance is an unforgettable experience for the audience, as they seek interaction with great humor, with an aroma of Italian charm.
“Viva la Vita!!!” is their motto, an invitation to experience a magical summer evening with them… an evening that will remain unforgettable.
