The Archangelos Women’s Association “Artemis” invites you to an open and interactive event dedicated to the role, power, and prospects of women in the modern era.

In a rapidly changing world, women face new opportunities as well as critical challenges. Technology, education, entrepreneurship, tourism, and new forms of work are creating innovative opportunities for growth and creativity. At the same time, economic uncertainty, multiple roles in family and work life, social inequalities, and the risks of the digital world require information, collaboration, and meaningful support.

The discussion will explore the unique character of Archangelos and Rhodes: their history and proud traditions, as well as the changes brought about by tourism development, modern entrepreneurship, and the new economy. We will explore ways to ensure that tradition is not an obstacle, but rather a source of knowledge, identity, and inspiration for the future.

Special emphasis will be placed on the valuable social capital of our region: strong family and social ties, community organizations, the neighborhood, solidarity, and intergenerational cooperation. Because when women share experiences, knowledge, and ideas, they can turn challenges into strengths and changes into opportunities for the entire local community.

The event will not be a typical lecture. It will be a lively dialogue, featuring questions, reflections, and active audience participation. The floor will be given to the women themselves: to share their experiences, needs, concerns, and dreams. With psychologist Manos Hatzimalonas.
