A special event, dedicated to all those who keep Gennadi alive in their hearts and memories, is being organized in Rhodes. Titled “Our Exiled Gennadi”, this evening is dedicated to Gennadians everywhere, as well as to all those who love the village.
The event is organized by the historic Genadi Cultural Association “Nikiforos Mandilaras” (founded in 1983). The event will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026 at the lower square of the village, starting at 8:30 p.m..
The central message of the event is encapsulated in the lyrics that adorn the evening’s invitation: “When you leave your homeland, something deep inside breaks, and no matter how much you try to rebuild your life, your memories bring you back”
